"UNI4-4 - European Management System Development of Academic Qualifications    and Capitalization of Informal Skills.

Financing: 9.690.000 lei, of which 9.488.000 are non-refundable, offered by the Sectorial Operational Program of Human Resources Development 2007-2013.

Beneficiary and partners: "Danubius" University, as beneficiary and its partners, Romanian - American University - Bucharest, George Bacovia University Bacau, West University - Timisoara, Universita deli Studi di Camerino - Italy, University of Toulouse - France, University Dortmund - Germany and University Chania - Greece, SC CISPRO L.L.C. and  SIDA L.L.C. Italia,

Implementation time-frame: 01.12.2010-30.11.2013.

Overall objective: to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of studio programs by restructuring and improving the education and training systems (according to the demand of professional profiles from the labor market) in the context of creating a European university consortium, in order to capitalize tertiary study programs.

Project Activities: Conferences, workshops, training seminars for university operators, especially those employed in the processes of personalized support for students, courses for developing transversal skill, organizing a large event, Career Day, as well as issuing textbooks dedicated to informing students about career paths, but also building the Business Games Platform (http://businessgames.uni4-4.ro/) are just some of the activities carried out and accomplished through the implementation of this project.

"The management of linking the study system with the labour market"

Beneficiary and partners: Ministry of National Education - as Beneficiary, in partnership with the National Center for Training in Statistics, The National Scientific Research Institute for Labour and Social Protection and ÖSBConsulting GmbH from Austria.

Project Objectives: Improving the adaptation of the higher education system to permanently changing labor market needs, through methods such as development, testing / piloting and implementation of new tools, procedures, methodologies and mechanisms in order to increase the capacity of this system in realizing its current state and in predicting trends in demand in the labor market at sectorial, local and multi-regional level.

Project activities:

Creating an integrated system that enables the monitoring of participation and attendance of higher and postgraduate education, as well as quality assessment of the insertion of graduates into the labor market.

Developing, updating and managing of databases in order to create a network for the collection of qualitative and quantitative, permanent and functional data via a web-based platform of cooperation between higher education institutions and labor market operators;

Developing tools, procedures and methodologies that will improve and permanently update the knowledge and skills provided by the higher education system and labor market demands;

Personnel training interested in developing, testing / piloting and implementing tools, procedures, methodologies and mechanisms for monitoring the insertion of graduates in the labor market at the level of the 50 participating universities;

Elaborating studies / analysis / forecasting reports useful for provisional management of higher education related to the labor market dynamics in order to (re) define study programs and to a better link with the labor market needs and a knowledge-based society.

Implementation time-frame: 01.11.2013-31.10.2015.

Project objective: to improve the quality of vocational and educational guidance services provided by Romanian partners from different geographical contexts (4 regions of Romania) via the transfer of ICAS model provided by CASCAiD, UK.

Project activities: the process of transferring the model and of the instrument, provides the following actions:

Identifying and analyzing the needs of the target group through a preliminary analysis of the context of reference
Selecting and analyzing the innovative contents through the study of the model and the analysis of different versions of developed tools in other countries
Adapting the tools by integrating the specific contents required for their use in national and Sectorial context; linguistic interpretation, with the necessary adaptations,
The transmission of the model to national partners and its use in appropriate contexts and structures
Specific action in order to optimize the model in different contexts

Evaluation and dissemination of the results.
