Professor BENONE PUŞCĂ, PhD, President of the "DANUBIUS" University, Doctor Honoris Causa at the Western University "Vasile Goldis" of Arad

Friday, May 15th 2015, at the 25th anniversary ceremony of the establishment of the Western University "Vasile Goldis" (WUVG) from Arad, Professor Benone PUŞCĂ, PhD, the President of "Danubius" University of Galati received the highest academic distinction from the WUVG Senate - the title of DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA, being recognized once again, the complexity, diversity and difficulty of all conducted activities, gathered in remarkable professional results of Mr. Professor Benone PUŞCĂ, PhD.

The ceremony was opened by Mrs. Professor Coralia Adina COTORACI, PhD, Rector of the Western University "Vasile Goldis" of Arad:

"I am particularly honored that, as of today, you are among the winners of this prestigious title and that you are part of our academic community.

I congratulate you and wish you good health, labor power, a lot of joys and fulfillments. I am convinced, however, that in the coming years, we will achieve a fruitful collaboration for the promotion of academic activity and scientific research of Danubius University of Galati and the Western University "Vasile Goldis" of Arad in a sustainable international partnership.”

The Honorable mission to present the LAUDATIO returned Mrs. Professor Verginia Vedinaş, PhD - Faculty of Law - University of Bucharest:

"We are participating today in an outstanding event of the life of our University, namely to award the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of an illustrious academic and scientific figure, a moment which represents a high degree of reflection, the greatest respect, assuming the admiration on the academic value, regarding the Laureate and for enhancing the prestige of Alma Mater of Arad.

At the same time, we are unable to separate his prestigious activity at national or international, at the scientific or literary level, but we can say that we are fully confident by the multilateral complexity of his personality, on the role which he had and still has in the development of the Romanian Higher education.

We also highlight his profound spirit of justice and fairness, in various fields, whether political, legal or social, combined with full certainty in his university managerial or administrative activities, which all together gave him the power to attract permanently forces of change in modernity, necessary balancing factor in the contemporary world.

I have many memories of Arad as a young man, but, after the Revolution, the best memory is my friendship with the distinguished Professor Aurel Ardelean, PhD. We worked a lot in the domain of scientific research and academic activity and the results were outstanding”, said Professor Benone PUŞCĂ, PhD.
