The opening of the academic year at “Danubius” University, an event which has kept its tradition for 23 years, took place on October 1st, it was the occasion of an emotional reunion with professors from the oldest Romanian University Center, Iasi. Wonderful people, outstanding teachers who have belonged for many years to the Danubius Academic Community.
We speak of Professors: Tudorel TOADER, PhD, Ioan HUMĂ, PhD, Neculai BOBICA, PhD and Constantin CLOSCA, PhD.
The ceremony was opened by our Rector, Associate Professor Andy PUŞCĂ, PhD: We propose further excellence based on well done work and, most importantly, based on students. The students are, for us, the ones to be encouraged. I believe that we have evolved enormously and we are one of the most highly regarded universities in Romania and better regarded at international level. I rely on the facts that occurred in the previous years. Have a good year! Good luck and a lot of faith in our future!”
The Freshmen who have entered in the “Danubius” University were introduced to the founder of this institution of higher education, Professor Benone Pusca, PhD, a personality who dared to take a bold and avant-garde mission and who managed to turn his dream, with many sacrifices, into this beautiful reality which includes extraordinary teachers, students and graduates.
On this occasion, Mr. President-Founder, Professor Benone Pusca, PhD wanted to reward, honorary, by providing the diploma of excellence and titles of emeritus professor to the special guests, whom, at a certain point in time, were part of the teaching elite of this university.
