Life-Long Learning Center
As a training provider, the Life-Long Learning Center (CFC) is working with all faculties and entities of Danubius University in order to promote training programs that meet the current requirements of the civil society by conversion / reconversion/ respecialization program, training courses, postgraduate specialization courses, postgraduate courses, workshops, summer schools.
OBJECTIVES
(1) Monitoring the conversion programs and training postgraduate courses and also training programs for the economic agents' staff for different professions and specializations provided for in the Classification of Occupations in Romania. The training programs have variable durations, depending on the market segment, and also in response to the requests of the economic beneficiaries. For the courses that it organizes, the CFC may issue certificates in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
(2) Supporting the modern training programs, using innovative methods of teaching - learning - evaluation;
(3) Supporting the faculties in achieving the marketing of the life-long learning programs;
(4) Training teachers in the domain of life-long learning, in order to provide courses at higher academic level and of great diversity, covering accordingly the market's needs;
(5) The development in the university of the research activity on the adult's education that would support the increase of the quality of the offered programs;
(6) Establishing the appropriate framework for implementing the training activities, consultancy, etc. by launching the offer of the university in the socio-economic and cultural environment, on the one hand and identifying the needs / expectations specific to the socio-economic and cultural environment and their correlation with the university's offer, on the other hand.
(7) Collaboration with other centers for training human resources and other similar national and international organizations, with the approval of the University Board of Administration.
