Professor Stefan C. Schaltegger, PhD, Doctor Honoris Causa of the “Danubius” University

Friday, March 10, the Danubius academic community has a new member: Professor Stephen C. Schaltegger, PhD. Leading figure of the international scientific world, Mr. Professor has revolutionized through valuable scientific contributions, future accounting, his studies become standard in the international scientific research.
Mr. Stefan C. Schaltegger, PhD (Sustainability Management) is Professor at Leuphana University in Lüneburg (Germany) and at the University of Basel (Switzerland) (Business Administration), leader of the Research Center for Sustainable Management and MBA program coordinator in the same domain. Also, Professor Stefan C. Schaltegger, PhD is visiting professor and researcher at numerous universities worldwide and speaker at prestigious conferences.

As a token of appreciation and respect to his contribution for the development of science and knowledge at international level, the Senate of “Danubius” University has decided to grant the highest honors, the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Mr. Professor Stefan C. Schaltegger, PhD.
For the first time in Romania, Mr. Professor Stefan C. Schaltegger, PhD was introduced in the academic environment of the “Danubius” University by Mr. Rector - Associate Professor Andy PUȘCĂ, PhD, presenting the mission and the values of this institution of higher education and its extraordinary results in scientific research. Specialist in Entrepreneurship, Mr. Professor Stefan C. Schaltegger, PhD said he was honored to be identified with the “Danubius” University in which it can be felt the entrepreneurial spirit.
The Founder of Danubius University, Mr. Professor Benone PUŞCĂ, PhD gave to the new member of the Danubian academic community the Labyrinth of life, a book in which Mr. Professor Stefan C. Schaltegger, PhD will discover a part of the Romanian history.
