DUG, THE ONLY FOREIGN UNIVERSITY PRESENT AT THE UNITERCIH EDUCATION FAIR, TURKEY, THE MOST IMPORTANT EVENT ORGANIZED FOR GUIDING FUTURE TURKISH STUDENTS

“Danubius” University of Galati (DUG) was the only foreign university present at the summer edition of one of the most important event for Turkish students: the UNITERCIH Education Fair (Türkiye’nin tek ve en büyük Üniversite Tercih Fuarı), an event held at Istanbul and Ankara.
The DUG educational offer was presented to the Turkish public by the representative of the university, Associate Professor Emanuel - Stefan Marinescu, PhD, Director of the Center for International Cooperation within the DUG.
“The sense of duty is a mass phenomenon in Turkey. It regards this people's education and young Turks are interested in absolutely all the study programs and specializations of the universities abroad where they can study in order to return home and put into practice what they have learned.
Therefore, the questions of the young people present at this event not only focused the degree programs in English, but all specialties of MA and BA studies of “Danubius” University.

The collaboration of “Danubius” University with professors and students from Turkey began many years ago, the Erasmus mobility being the main connection between the two systems of education. Last year, Danubian students attended courses supported by three professors from the University Selcuk in Turkey, and many teachers from DUG taught at universities in Turkey. This month ended the Erasmus mobility of a student from Izmir who wanted to practice, for two months, at the Bureau of Public Relations of DUG.
