Thus, on this occasion there were discussed relevant aspects regarding the projects of the European Fund for Strategic Investments, project proposals were made for the Lower Danube Region, and the second part of the day was devoted to the theme of practical ways to involve in the Asian- Pacific perspectives in the major global and European investment projects to prepare and implement new major investment projects with examples of good practice from the Asia-Pacific region. Also, there were presented new challenges of the entrepreneurial environment for higher education.
The celebration of the international university has brought together not only academic and diplomatic personalities from all over the world, but also students from the Asia Pacific region, from Poland and France.
23 Asian students lived for a week at the Danubius University, participating in interactive courses alongside their Romanian teachers and colleagues, as well as students from France and Poland, who are in full Erasmus mobility at this university.
The young Asian people were fascinated by the Romanian traditions, popular dances and, in particular, the traditional food, which they discovered in the Romanian village world, in Şiviţa, in the company of the famous folk craftsman Paul BUŢĂ.
It seems that this experience is the pilot of a lasting collaboration between the AUAP (Association of Asian and Pacific Universities) member institutions in order to ensure effective student mobility and teacher mobility programs so that a two-way flow of students and teachers can be ensured between these regions of the world.
Happy Birthday, “Danubius” University!
