ERASMUS + selection for student study mobility programmes takes place in each academic year, according to the Erasmus calendar drafted at its beginning.  The selection files will be submitted at the European Programmes Office, hall B17.

Organizing and selection for the appointment of students that will receive an Erasmus+ scholarship is the responsibility of the Office for European Programmes of "Danubius" University and the Selection Committee at an institutional level.

The Selection Committee at an institutional level will include the following members:

a. deans and / or heads of departments;
b. Erasmus coordinators from each faculty; 
c. Erasmus institutional coordinator;
d. English and French teachers;
e. a student representative who received an Erasmus grant, but who is not one of the students participating in the selection.

The same student may receive grants for periods of mobility up to 12 months per cycle of studies, B.A. and M.A., regardless of the number and type of mobility activities. Previous experience under the Erasmus programme is taken into account when calculating the 12 months.

The ones who may participate in the selection are those who:

are students enrolled at "Danubius" University, Romanian citizens, citizens of other participating states in the Erasmus + or citizens of other states than those participating in the Erasmus +; students enrolled in all study forms can participate but those who are enrolled in full-time learning education will be have priority;

are 1st year students (B.A.) - can only conduct traineeship mobility programmes, as, when it comes to study mobility programmes, students can participate only in selections for a mobility that is conducted in the academic year subsequent to that in which the selection occurs, one condition for conducting the study mobility being the completion of minimum 2 semesters of university studies;

are 2nd year students(B.A.) and 1st year students(M.A.)

are students in final years of B.A. or M.A. study programmes and may benefit from an Erasmus mobility in the same academic year in which selection takes place only if the duration of the mobility is prior to the graduation exam taken at "Danubius "University.

are students in final years of B.A. study programmes and wish to continue their education with M.A. studies at "Danubius" University, being able to participate in the selection in their final year in order to conduct an Erasmus mobility in the first semester of M.A. studies; after being admitted to an M.A. study programme, the student must provide the Office for European Programmes a certificate attesting that he/she was accepted to one of the university's M.A. study programmes; thus, the Erasmus mobility cannot begin before the start of the new academic year at "Danubius".

The ones who may not participate in the selection are those who:

a. are first year students, B.A., if the selection takes place in the same academic year in which the Erasmus study mobility for which he applied is planned to be conducted;

In order to be eligible for an Erasmus study mobility, the student must: 
a. have no unattended examinations until the last session, including it (must have passed all the exams after the last examination session);

b.  have the average grade of minimum 7 for all academic years of study until the selection period (for M.A. students, the average grade for the B.A. study cycle / cycles already completed and the grade of the graduation examination will be also taken into account);

c. have a test in order to check the level of knowledge of the study language used for teaching in the university for which he/she applies (e.g. the minimum grade of 8/10 or higher, in the case of ratings) The test is organized by "Danubius" University and represents a phase of the selection;

d. to pass the exam with at least 7 for the interview within the selection conducted at the faculty.

The ranking of all student candidates will be made as follows:
1. For students enrolled in B.A. programmes: the average of the results obtained until the last session, including it (accounting for 50% of the overall average) the grade from the language test * (30% of the overall average) and the grade obtained at the interview (20% of the overall average).
2. For students enrolled in M.A. programmes: the average of the results obtained until the last session, including M.A. studies + the average of B.A. study + the grade from the B.A. graduation exam (50% of the overall average) the grade from the language test * ( 30% of the overall average) and the grade obtained at  the interview ( 20% of the overall average).
3. Other certificates and diplomas obtained by the student represent further selection criteria in case two candidates receive an identical overall average.
The overall average of the selection = the average of academic years (50%) + the grade from the language test (30%) + the grade from the interview (20%) * Candidates who have a certificate of proficiency with the score obtained by the student will receive a grade equivalent to the score, which will be taken into account when calculating the overall average of the selection. The grade equivalent to the score stated in the certificate of proficiency will be determined by an English or French teacher. In the case of certificates attesting knowledge of other languages, for example Italian language, the grade related to the score will also be decided by one of the two teachers.

Those students who are at the top of the hierarchy become beneficiaries of those student mobility programmes according to the allocated funds. Other students who meet the eligibility criteria become reserves, with the possibility of obtaining the grant, in the same order of hierarchy, in the case of renunciation / redistribution of funds or if the funds are supplemented. Those candidates who do not meet the selection criteria will be rejected.

In addition, the students on the reserve list may benefit from Erasmus mobility programmes without funding (zero grant), covering all their expenses for the period of study or traineeship abroad from their own funds.  However, they benefit from all the other rights of an Erasmus student (exemption from tuition fees at the host university, recognition of study period spent abroad etc.).

In case an admitted student gives up the chance of conducting the Erasmus mobility, his/her place will be taken by a student from the reserve list, in descending order of the score obtained at the selection by candidates with the reserve status.

PREPARATION OF THE MOBILITY

After the selection of beneficiaries of study and traineeship mobility programmes, in view of their preparation, they will go through the following stages:

1. The Office for European Programmes will notify the host university / institution of the selection results and will request confirmation concerning the acceptance of the beneficiary (which may take the form of a letter of acceptance).

2. Preparation of documents (Learning Agreement for Study / Traineeship Programmes) necessary for the mobility, together with the faculty's Erasmus coordinator and their approval by the Host University / institution. The learning agreement will detail the curriculum content and the duration of the programme that the beneficiary will have to conduct. It is recommended that it should be comparable to the curriculum of "Danubius" University for the mobility period. The subjects mentioned in the study agreement will ensure that the student can accumulate a number of ECTS according to the Erasmus +Procedure: 3 months - 20 ECTS, 1 semester - 30 ECTS, one academic year - 60 ECTS.

3. Signing the financial contract under which he/she will receive the grant allocated for the mobility. The beneficiary is required to support the bank transfer fees of the grant. The grant will be transferred in two tranches or in accordance with the provisions of the financial contract (it is recommended that the beneficiary should have a bank account at BCR in order to pay a lower transfer tax).
4. Organizing the travel (transportation, accommodation, health insurance etc.) is the responsibility of the beneficiary.

MOBILITY RECOGNITION

"Danubius" University, through the Committee for Equivalence and Recognition of transferable credits and the study period, will, in integrum and automatically, recognize the Erasmus + study or traineeship periods and the number of transferable credits accumulated by the student during the mobility.

When returning from the mobility, the beneficiary must submit to the Office for European Programs the following documents attesting the conducting of the mobility:

1. The certificate of participation issued at the end of the mobility by the host university / institution which must show the exact period of mobility and must correspond to the period mentioned in the financial contract under the sanction of full grant return;

2. The records transcript for study mobility, signed and stamped;

3. The proof for carrying out specified tasks in the traineeship agreement (Transcript of Work) for traineeship mobility programmes, signed and stamped;

4. The transport ticket and receipt / payment order (boarding pass, bus ticket, train, etc.);

5. The final narrated report (print and electronic);

6. Testimonial.

The equivalence of Erasmus + study and traineeship periods, following the recognition of grades obtained in the subjects studied during the mobility, is made using the equivalence scale (Appendix to Order no. 3223/08.02.2012 concerning the approval of the methodology for recognition of study periods abroad) as an intermediate scale between the scale of Romania and that of the host country, directly related with the grades obtained by students. The number of credits related to each comparable discipline will be that from "Danubius" University curriculum  and not that which was obtained at the host university.

The subjects provided in the study agreement can be equated with subjects studied in the year in which the mobility is conducted as well as with subjects that are studied in the subsequent academic years.

The beneficiaries who have completed a study or traineeship mobility must attend events organized by "Danubius" University Office for European Programmes in order to disseminate information on the mobility experience and promote the received grant.

1st semester
- October/ November–information session concerning opportunities for participation in study or traineeship mobility programmes;
- November/ December–selection of students who will conduct study or traineeship mobility programmes in the 2nd semester of the current academic year;
In case of vacancy for all available mobility scholarships, new selections will be made.

2nd semester
- February/ March–information session concerning opportunities for participation in study or traineeship mobility programmes;
- March/ April–selection of students who will conduct study or traineeship mobility programmes in the 1st semester of the future academic year;
In case of vacancy for all available mobility scholarships, new selections will be made.

Mobilități de studiu
Selecția ERASMUS + pentru mobilități studențești de studiu are loc în fiecare an universitar conform calendarului Erasmus stabilit la începutul acestuia. Dosare de selecție se vor depune la Biroul de Programe Europene, sala B17.
Organizarea şi desfăşurarea selecţiei pentru desemnarea studenţilor care vor derula mobilităţi Erasmus+ sunt de competenţa Biroului de Programe Europene al Universității "Danubius" şi a Comisiei de selecţie la nivel instituțional.
Comisia de selecție la nivel instituțional va include următorii membri:
a. decanii și/sau directorii de departament;
b. coordonatorii Erasmus de la nivelul fiecărei facultăţi;
c. coordonatorul instituțional Erasmus;
d. profesori de limba engleză și franceză;
e. un reprezentant al studenţilor, care a beneficiat de un grant Erasmus, dar care să nu fie unul dintre studenţii care participă la selecţie.

Același student poate beneficia de granturi pentru perioade de mobilitate de până la 12 luni pentru fiecare ciclu de licență sau masterat indiferent de numărul și tipul activităților de mobilitate. Experiența anterioară în cadrul programului Erasmus se ia în considerare la calculul celor 12 luni.
Pot participa la selecţie:
a. studenţii înmatriculaţi la Universitatea "Danubius", cetăţeni români, cetăţeni ai altor state participante la Programul Erasmus + sau cetăţeni ai altor state decât cele participante la Programul Erasmus+; la selecţie pot participa studenţii de la toate formele de învăţământ dar prioritate în acordarea granturilor vor avea studenţii de la forma de învăţământ cu frecvenţă;
b. studenţii din anul I (licenţă) – pot desfășura doar mobilități de practică deoarece în cazul celor de studiu aceștia pot participa numai la selecţii pentru mobilităţi care se vor desfăşura în anul academic următor celui în care are loc selecţia, o condiţie a derulării mobilităţii de studiu fiind absolvirea a minimum 2 semestre de studii universitare;
c. studenţii din anul II (licenţă) şi anul I (masterat);
d. studenții din anii terminali de la programele de studii de licență sau de masterat pot beneficia de o mobilitate Erasmus în acelaşi an universitar în care are loc selecţia doar dacă perioada de desfășurare a mobilității este anterioară perioadei de desfășurare a examenului de finalizare a studiilor la Universitatea „Danubius".
e. studenții din anii terminali de la programele de studii de licență care doresc să continue studiile de masterat la Universitatea „Danubius" pot participa la concursul de selecţie în anul terminal pentru a derula o mobilitate Erasmus în semestrul I al studiilor de masterat; după admiterea la masterat studentul trebuie să aducă la Biroul de Programe Europene adeverinţa care atestă faptul că a fost admis iar mobilitatea Erasmus nu poate începe înainte de începerea noului an universitar la Universitatea „Danubius".

Nu pot participa la selecţie:
a. studenţii din anul I licenţă, dacă selecţia are loc în acelaşi an academic în care urmează să se desfăşoare şi mobilitatea Erasmus de studii pentru care candidează;

Pentru a fi eligibil pentru o mobilitate Erasmus de studiu, studentul trebuie:
a. să nu aibă restanţe până în ultima sesiune inclusiv (integraliști după ultima sesiune de examene);
b. să aibă media anilor de studii de până la momentul selecţiei de minim 7 (în cazul masteranzilor se va avea în vedere şi media anilor de studii pentru ciclul/ciclurile de studii de licenţă deja încheiate şi media de la examenul de licenţă);
c. să susțină un test care să verifice nivelul de cunoaștere a limbii de studiu în care se va realiza predarea în universitatea pentru care candidează (ex: min. nota 8/10, sau bine, în cazul calificativelor); Testul se organizează de Universitatea "Danubius" și reprezintă o etapă a selecției;
d. să obţină cel puţin nota 7 la interviul susţinut în cadrul selecţiei desfăşurate la facultate.

Ierarhizarea tuturor studenţilor candidaţi se va realiza după cum urmează:
1. pentru studenţii înscrişi la programe de licenţă: media rezultatelor obţinute până la ultima sesiune inclusiv (cu o pondere de 50% din media generală), nota obţinută la testul de limbă* (cu o pondere de 30% din media generală) și nota obţinută la interviu (cu o pondere de 20% din media generală).
2. pentru studenţii înscrişi la programe de masterat: media rezultatelor obţinute până la ultima sesiune inclusiv, la studiile de masterat + media anilor de studiu de la nivel Licenţă + nota obţinută la examenul de licenţă (cu o pondere de 50% din media generală), nota obţinută la testul de limbă* (cu o pondere de 30% din media generală) și nota obţinută la interviu (cu o pondere de 20% din media generală.
3. Alte atestate şi diplome obţinute de către student reprezintă un criteriu de departajare în eventualitatea în care doi candidați obțin o medie generală identică.
Media generală selecție = medie ani studiu (50%) + notă test limbă (30%) + notă interviu (20%)
* Candidaţii care deţin un certificat de competenţă lingvistică în care se precizează punctajul obţinut de student vor primi o notă echivalentă acestui punctaj, care va fi luată în considerare la calculul mediei generale a selecţiei. Nota echivalentă punctajului din certificatul de competenţă lingvistică va fi stabilită de profesorul de limba engleză, respectiv limba franceză. În cazul unor certificate care atestă cunoaşterea altor limbi străine, de exemplu limba italiană, acordarea notei aferente punctajului se va realiza tot de către unul dintre cele două cadre didactice.
Devin titulari de mobilitate acei studenţi din ierarhia de selecţie până la care ajung fondurile alocate. Ceilalţi studenţi care îndeplinesc criteriile de eligibilitate devin rezerve, având posibilitatea de obţinere a grantului, în aceeaşi ordine a ierarhiei, în cazul unor renunţări/ redistribuiri sau suplimentări de fonduri. Acei candidaţi care nu îndeplinesc criteriile de selecţie vor fi consideraţi respinşi.
De asemenea, studenţii de pe lista de rezerve pot beneficia de mobilitate Erasmus fără finanţare (zero grant), acoperindu-şi integral, din fonduri personale, cheltuielile implicate de perioada de studiu sau de practică în străinătate. Ei beneficiază însă de toate celelalte drepturi ale unui student Erasmus (scutirea de la plata taxelor de studiu la universitatea-gazdă, recunoaşterea perioadei de studiu în străinătate etc.).
În situaţia în care un student admis renunţă la derularea mobilităţii Erasmus, locul său va fi luat de un student de pe lista rezervelor, în ordinea descrescătoare a punctajului obţinut la selecţie de către candidaţii cu statut de rezervă.Pregatirea mobilitatii

După selecția beneficiarilor mobilităților de studiu și practică, în vederea pregătirii acestora se vor parcurge următoarele etape:
1. Biroul de Programe Europene va anunța universitatea/instituția gazdă de rezultatele selecției și va solicita o confirmare privind acceptarea beneficiarului (care poate lua și forma unei scrisori de acceptare).
2. Pregătirea documentelor (Learning Agreement for Studies/ Traineeships) necesare mobilității împreună cu coordonatorul Erasmus al facultății și aprobarea acestora de către universitatea/instituția gazdă. Acordul de studiu va detalia conţinutul curriculum-ului şi durata programului pe care beneficiarul va trebui să-l urmeze. Acesta se recomandă a fi comparabil cu planul de învăţământ al Universității "Danubius" aferent perioadei de mobilitate. Disciplinele menţionate în acordul de studii vor asigura studentului acumularea unui număr de ECTS conform Procedurii Erasmus+: 3 luni – 20 ECTS, 1 semestru – 30 ECTS, 1 an universitar – 60 ECTS.
3. Semnarea Contractului Financiar în baza căruia va primi grantul alocat mobilității. Beneficiarul are obligația suportății comisioanelor de transfer bancar al grantului. Grantul va fi virat în două tranșe sau în conformitate cu prevederile din contractul financiar (se recomandă ca beneficiarul să dețină un cont bancar la BCR pentru a suporta un comision de transfer mai mic).
4. Organizarea deplasării (transportul, cazarea, asigurarea de sănătate etc) este obligația beneficiarului.

Recunoasterea mobilitatii

Universitatea "Danubius", prin Comisia de Echivalare și Recunoaștere a creditelor transferabile și a periodelor de studii va recunoaşte in integrum şi automat perioadele de studii sau de practică Erasmus+ şi numărul de credite transferabile acumulate de student în perioada mobilității.

La întoarcerea din mobilitate beneficiarul trebuie să depună la Biroul de Programe Europene următoarele documentele care atestă efectuarea mobilității:
1. Certificatul de participare, emis la finalul mobilității de universitatea/instituția gazdă care trebuie să ateste perioada exactă a mobilității și să corespundă perioadei asumate prin contractul financiar sub sancțiunea returnării integrale a grantului primit;
2. Situaţia şcolară (Transcript of Records) pentru mobilitățile de studiu semnată și ștampilată;
3. Dovada îndeplinirii sarcinilor specificate în acordul de practică (Transcript of Work) pentru mobilitățile de practică semnată și ștampilată;
4. Biletul de transport și chitanță/ordin de plată (boarding pass, tichet autocar, tren etc.);
5. Raportul final narativ (print și electronic);
6. Testimonial.

Echivalarea perioadelor de studii sau de practică Erasmus+, în urma recunoașterii calificativelor/notelor obținute la disciplinele parcurse pe perioada mobilității, se face utilizând grila de echivalare (Anexa la Ordinul nr. 3223/08.02.2012 pentru aprobarea Metodologiei de recunoaştere a perioadelor de studii efectuate în străinătate), ca scală intermediară între scala din România și cea din țara gazdă, în relație directă cu notele obținute de studenți. Numărul de credite aferent fiecărei discipline echivalate va fi cel din planul de învățământ al Universității "Danubius", și nu cel obținut la universitatea gazdă.

Disciplinele prevăzute în acordul de studiu pot fi echivalate atât cu discipline studiate în anul curent desfășurării mobilității, cât și cu discipline care se studiază în anii universitari ulteriori.

Beneficiarii care au finalizat o mobilitate de studiu sau practică trebuie să participe la evenimentele organizate de Biroul de Programe Europene al Universității "Danubius" în scopul diseminării informațiilor despre experiența mobilității și a promovării grantului primit.
